A few years ago, I got the urge to start fly fishing. It has turned out to be an adventure, and something I “think” I enjoy. On the other hand… its been a pain in the butt. Most of that comes from the frustration that I hear a lot of novices express.
I don’t catch a lot of fish.
But, because I’m fortunate to live in Colorado and fish the Rockies, there’s still a great deal of enjoyment in just getting out there.
At the end of the day (especially when I drag my sorry butt into the house at night and my wife asks – “did you catch anything”) I can usually say “it was a good day.”
That’s my story… and this blog will follow it.
